A recent Fox News report titled ‘KILLED FOR SPORT,’ the horrifying mass killing of Nigerian Christians by jihadists has garnered global attention, sparking concerns over the apparent indifference of the world to the crisis.

Aired on January 7, 2024, the report featured Rev. Johnnie Moore, President of the Congress of Christian Leaders, shedding light on the ongoing genocide against Nigerian Christians in the name of jihad.

The Fox News anchor painted a stark reality, revealing that Christians in Nigeria are allegedly facing death every two hours.

This shocking disclosure follows the tragic accounts of 140 Nigerian Christians killed during the 2023 Christmas celebrations.

Providing historical context, the report recalled the Trump administration’s categorization of Nigeria as the worst violator of religious freedom worldwide.

The anchor also noted that the U.S. State Department attributes the cause of these killings to climate change.

However, scepticism emerged as the anchor questioned the legitimacy of attributing the violence to climate change.

There was a suggestion that framing the issue as an environmental crisis might be an attempt to avoid implicating a specific religious group and downplaying the severity of the situation.

The news segment underscored the dire circumstances faced by Christians in Nigeria, emphasizing not only the alarming rate of killings but also incidents of kidnappings and church burnings.
