Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has affirmed his unwavering commitment to advancing the growth and development of Agura Kingdom.

This proclamation came during the one-year anniversary celebration of HRM Oba Moruf Ahmed Ogunnaike Ogunderu, the Alagura of Agura kingdom, on January 20, 2024.

Adesina, addressing a captivated audience, shared his administration’s ongoing initiatives designed to enhance the well-being of Agura residents.

Key among these projects is the comprehensive renovation of Agura family health centers, the installation of a borehole at Eleshin, the implementation of a light-up program at Oke-Agbo, and the planned surfacing of Oke-Agbo road.

“The development of Agura Kingdom is a priority for my administration, and we are actively working on various fronts to ensure tangible improvements in infrastructure and services,” declared Adesina, reflecting his dedication to the prosperity of the community.

Expressing gratitude to Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the chairman lauded the commencement of the rehabilitation of the Igbodu-Gberigbe-Oke-Agbo road.

He underscored the collaborative efforts between the local government and the state government, recognizing the importance of such partnerships in achieving comprehensive development.

Adesina, visibly passionate about the progress of Agura Kingdom, affirmed that his administration remains resolute in bringing more infrastructural development to the region.

He teased at upcoming major road construction projects, emphasizing the pivotal role accessible and well-maintained roads play in the overall progress of the community.

In a heartfelt conclusion, the chairman extended warm congratulations to the Alagura of Agura, Oba Moruf Ahmed Ogunnaike Ogunderu.
