Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and other Financial Institutions, together with his wife, Mrs. Surat Feyisola Abiru, joined in the joyous celebration of the 70th birthday of the esteemed Paramount Ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu.
In a heartfelt message on behalf of his family and the entire people of Ikorodu and Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Adetokunbo extended warm felicitations to the revered royal father.
The Senator praised Oba Shotobi’s leadership, describing it as a beacon of inspiration.
He expressed immense pride in the quality leadership provided by the Ayangbure, which has played a pivotal role in transforming Ikorodu into Nigeria’s 12th largest city and the third-largest city in the Southwest.
The Senator acknowledged Oba Shotobi’s royal pedigree and the pride he instills in the people of Ikorodu Division, allowing them to hold their heads high wherever they go.
He highlighted the growth and development witnessed under the monarch’s reign as a testament to his visionary stewardship.
