Alleviating the economic burdens faced by its residents, Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA organized a fund relief program on April 25, 2024.
The event, held at the council Secretariat, saw the distribution of 20 thousand naira to 1,000 individuals across various demographics within the LCDA.
Amidst the excitement and anticipation, the gathering was graced by apex leaders, stakeholders, and esteemed personalities, all converging to support the initiative aimed at providing financial empowerment to vulnerable members of the community.

Addressing the audience before the cash presentation, Chairman Daini detailed the government’s dedication to assisting residents in overcoming economic hardships exacerbated by the removal of subsidies.
He emphasized the program’s pivotal role in providing relief to those bearing the brunt of the subsidy removal, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to supporting the community during challenging times.
Daini outlined the distribution process, revealing that 500 individuals received 20 thousand naira each during the event, totaling 10 million naira.
He further announced plans to reach an additional 500 beneficiaries, ensuring inclusivity by surprising residents in various marketplaces and communities within the LCDA.

Alhaji Taiwo Orenuga, the APC party chairman in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, expressed gratitude towards Bldr Daini for his continuous dedication to the welfare of residents.

He noted that in the discharge of his administrative duties, Daini has consistently upheld the principles of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, ensuring that the welfare of citizens remains a top priority.

Furthermore, Basorun appealed to residents to exercise patience and understanding towards the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, assuring them that better days are ahead.
Following the presentation of relief funds to beneficiaries in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, numerous individuals, including the less privileged, elderly, students, and youths, expressed heartfelt gratitude Bldr Daini for his compassionate gesture during challenging times.
