IKORODU PECULIAR LIONS CLUB BRINGS HOPE: HUMANITARIAN DONATION TO PARAFA HEALTH CARE CENTRE SERVES OVER 126 MOTHERS AND BABIES ~ INN Nigeria ☆


On September 10, 2024, Parafa Health Care Centre in Ikorodu witnessed a heartwarming humanitarian gesture as the Ikorodu Peculiar Lions Club conducted a donation drive aimed at supporting new mothers and their babies.

The program served over 126 individuals, providing essential supplies to uplift the community’s well-being.

The donations included vital baby care items such as Pampers, toilet rolls, baby rash creams, flannels, baby wipes, and imported shawls.

These items were carefully chosen to address the immediate needs of both mothers and newborns, ensuring better comfort and hygiene for those served by the health centre.

Leaders from the Lions Club were in attendance, with the Club Charter President, Lion Akinosho David Peace, JP NLCF, leading the delegation. He was joined by Service Chairperson, Lion Kayode Aluko NLCF, Membership Chairperson, Lion Alapafuja Fuad NLCF, and Club Marketing and Communication Chairperson, Lion Adedokun Seyi. Each played a significant role in ensuring the success of the event.

The donations, generously presented by Ikorodu Peculiar Lions Club, were well-received by the health centre.

The head of Parafa Health Care Centre praised the Ikorodu Peculiar Lions Club  for their continued dedication to community service.

She expressed her gratitude for the timely assistance and revealed plans to highlight the event on their state platform, further raising awareness of the club’s invaluable contributions.

The program also attracted the attention of an intended member, who was impressed by the Lions Club’s commitment to humanitarian efforts.
