In a historic ceremony attended by dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers, Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya and Chief Mrs. Kaoli Olusanya were installed as the new Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ibeshe Kingdom.
HRM Oba Richard Ogunsanya, the Olubeshe of Ibeshe, conferred the title upon the Olusanyas.
The coronation, held in the heart of Ibeshe, celebrated the couple’s dedication to the community and their impactful contributions to its development.

Residents gathered in large numbers to express their support for Chief Asipa Kaoli, the former Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State, whose contributions, especially in the education sector, have had a significant impact on the region.

Ibeshe community is part of the Igbogbo Baiyeku region, located within Ward C4.
Heartfelt tributes were delivered by distinguished personalities, including Hon. Lanre Balogun, former Lagos State Commissioner for Rural Development, and Aarebirin Hon (Dr) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government.
Both emphasized the Olusanyas’ unwavering commitment to leadership, philanthropy, and grassroots development.
Hon. Lanre Balogun, chairman of the coronation committee, described Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya as a “graduate” of the political teachings of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Balogun commended Olusanya’s decades-long dedication to advancing Ikorodu Division and Lagos State, particularly through his roles in politics and community service.
Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, the Apex Mandate Group leader in Ikorodu Division, focused on education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic development in his address, highlighting his vision for Ibeshe Kingdom.
He called for urgent upgrades to critical road networks and advocated for the realization of the Fourth Mainland Bridge project, emphasizing its transformative potential for Ikorodu and Lagos State.
Yeye Asiwaju Mrs. Olusanya, a seasoned educator, pledged to enhance educational resources and empower women and youth.

She emphasized her passion for teaching and community engagement, promising to collaborate with local schools and stakeholders to foster sustainable development.
The Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Aarebirin Hon (Dr.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba lauded the Olusanyas for their exemplary leadership and contributions to education and community development.
She urged residents to draw inspiration from their legacy and continue striving for local and global impact.

The coronation marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ibeshe Kingdom, with the Olusanyas poised to lead initiatives that will elevate the community’s prosperity and unity.
