Ikorodu, Lagos – May 4, 2025, Aarebinrin Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba has emerged as the top aspirant in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship screening exercise, in what many observers describe as a defining moment in Ikorodu Central’s political landscape.
According to a press release issued by the media platform of Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the APC Screening Committee awarded her a score of 87 points — the highest among all aspirants in Ikorodu Central.
The release emphasized that her strong showing in the exercise reflects her preparedness, proven competence in governance, and unwavering loyalty to the party.
A respected figure in grassroots politics, Olabanji-Oba currently serves as Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government and holds the position of National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALCOVC).
