Dr. Agbaje made this declaration during the APC campaign event held on Monday, June 30, at Ward E in Ikorodu, where party faithful gathered in anticipation of the crucial grassroots poll.

Speaking passionately, Dr. Agbaje endorsed Prince Adebayo Abayomi Ladega for the position of Chairman and Hon. “I stand firmly with Prince Ladega and Hon. Alogba. Their dedication to community service and their commitment to APC’s progressive ideals will take Ikorodu Local Government to greater heights.”

“We must mobilize, unite, and vote massively for our party’s candidates to ensure victory on July 12,” Dr. Agbaje urged.

Beyond the Chairmanship race, Dr. Agbaje extended his endorsement to the APC councillorship candidates across the seven wards of Ikorodu Local Government, describing them as “competent, committed, and deeply connected to their communities.”

The endorsed councillorship candidates are: Hon. Shokunbi Idris Olaniyi (Ward A); Hon. Fatuga Mutiat Orelesi (Ward B); Hon. Safari Murisiku A. (Ward C); Hon. Sotomiwa Wasiu B. (Ward D); Hon. Egbetokun Lateefat (Ward E); Hon. Buraimoh Oluwakemi A. (Ward F); and Hon. Buraimoh Oluwakemi (Ward G).

Describing the entire APC ticket as “a winning team,” Dr. Agbaje emphasized the importance of continuity and party unity to consolidate the developmental strides in Ikorodu.

He encouraged residents and party members to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts and ensure that voter turnout on election day reflects the party’s dominance in the area.

The campaign event drew a large turnout of supporters, youth groups, and party stakeholders, reflecting APC’s stronghold in the Ikorodu division and the growing anticipation for the July 12th elections.

With just under two weeks to go, the support from high-ranking government officials like Dr. Agbaje is seen as a major boost to the APC’s prospects in Ikorodu and signals a tightly coordinated campaign strategy focused on winning all available seats.
