– On the Imperative of Voting APC Chairmanship Candidates Across Ikorodu Division.
As the July 12th Local Government Chairmanship Elections draw near, I, Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, passionately call on all well-meaning residents of Ikorodu Division to rally behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) and vote en masse for all its Chairmanship candidates across board.
This election is not just another democratic exercise; it is a defining moment that will shape the continuity of development and effective governance in our beloved region.
Over the years, the APC has proven itself as a party that truly understands the heartbeat of the grassroots.
From ward to ward, street to street, and town to town, the APC has consistently demonstrated a progressive approach to leadership—prioritising development, empowering the people, and delivering tangible results.
Roads have been constructed, health centres improved, schools upgraded, and youth and women have been given a stronger voice. These are the dividends of democracy that we must not allow to slip away.
As we approach the polls on July 12th, I urge every resident of Ikorodu to rise, just as we did in the 2023 general elections, united and strong with one voice.
We must echo the same energy and commitment that delivered outstanding results not only for Ikorodu but for the entire Lagos State.
The time has come to consolidate on these gains and ensure our communities continue on the path of prosperity and progress.
This is why I founded the Grow Ikorodu Now Movement—a visionary platform driven by the need to make governance more inclusive and impactful at the grassroots level.
The movement is a call to action, a reminder that Ikorodu deserves and can achieve more when we stay united and elect leaders who are truly in tune with the needs of the people.
Our mission is clear: to deepen democratic values, promote inclusive growth, and ensure that no community is left behind.
Voting for APC Chairmanship candidates across the division is the next critical step toward realising that mission.
These candidates are not strangers to our communities—they are tested and trusted individuals who share our collective vision for a better, brighter, and more developed Ikorodu.
Let us not be swayed by sentiments or short-term promises. Let us vote for continuity. Let us vote for capacity. Let us vote APC across board on July 12th.
Better days are not just ahead—they are already unfolding. And with your vote, they will come even faster.
