
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, has extended heartfelt Ramadan greetings to Muslims across Lagos State and Nigeria, urging them to embrace the spiritual lessons of the holy month.
In his goodwill message on Wednesday the 18th of February 2026, Dr. Agbaje prayed for divine mercy, peace, and prosperity, saying, “May the blessings of Allah be upon us all during this sacred and holy month.”
He described Ramadan as a period of deep reflection, self-discipline, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.
The Special Adviser emphasized that beyond fasting and prayers, Ramadan serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, generosity, tolerance, and service to humanity.
He encouraged residents to support the less privileged, strengthen family bonds, and promote peaceful coexistence within their communities.
Dr. Agbaje also called on citizens to pray for sustained development and progress in Lagos State, particularly in rural communities, noting that collective prayers and responsible actions remain vital to building a more inclusive and prosperous society.
He wished all Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and urged them to remain steadfast in faith throughout the holy month.
