Mr. Fola Tinubu has extended warm greetings to Muslims as they observe the holy month of Ramadan, urging the faithful to embrace the spiritual significance of the season through devotion, reflection, and acts of compassion.
In his prayerful message on the 19th of February 2026, Mr. Tinubu encouraged Muslims to draw closer to Almighty Allah and seek His mercy and guidance throughout the sacred period of fasting and prayer.
He also offered a special supplication (Dua), praying:
“اللهم قربني فيه إلى مرضاتك وجنبني فيه من سخطك ونقماتك ووفقني فيه لقراءة آياتك برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين”
Translated as:
“Oh Allah, on this day, take me closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from Your anger and punishment, grant me the opportunity to recite Your verses (of the Quran), by Your mercy, O the Most Merciful.”
Mr. Tinubu emphasized that Ramadan is a time for spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and strengthening bonds within communities.
He called on Muslims across Nigeria to use the period to promote peace, unity, and charity while praying for continued progress and harmony in society.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a blessed and rewarding Ramadan.
