On Thursday 9th of April, 2020, the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Adeola Adebisi Banjo distributed food items and cash donations to residents of Ikorodu North LCDA as part of measures to reduce the effect of the COVID-19 stay-at-home order of the federal and state government.
The distribution of the support packages held at a well ventilated environment and within the shortest time possible.
Bldr. Adeola, while addressing the audience, stressed that the Lagos state Government is doing everything within its power to contain the pandemic and so as part of efforts to support the state Government, the LCDA is giving out the food items and cash donations so that more families within the LCDA would heave a sigh of relief at this critical times.
The Executive Chairman while distributing the food items ensured strict compliance to safety measures such as social distancing, hand washing and that the gathering is not unnecessarily overcrowded.
The Chairman equally seized the occasion to encourage residents of Ikorodu North not to be caught on the wrong side of the law as practices such as street jogging, street football and other unwholesome acts should be avoided.
Beneficiaries couldn’t hide their excitement as they exchanged pleasantries and hailed the Chairman for a good job well done.
