The urgency to create more awareness on the dangers of CoVid-19 Pandemic cannot be overemphasized even as the Government tries to restart the Economy on a gradual process.
In propelling the Lagos State Government instructions for inhabitants of Lagos State to #TakeResponsibility, The Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club made their presence felt at the Ikorodu Metro Ferry Terminal Ebute in Ikorodu on the 22nd Of July 2020 as it’s members converged in mass to Distribute Hand Sanitizers for all boarding Passengers enroute to the Island.
“In our efforts to stop the spread of covid-19 pandemic. Ikorodu Metro lions club was at Ikorodu Metro Jetty early this morning to distribute hand sanitizers to passengers boarding the boat to Lagos Islands. Where there’s a need there is a Lion” Mrs Adefunke Esan NLCF (President Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club).
Boarding Passengers expressed their gratitude to the Club for supporting the region with free hand Sanitizers which would go a long way to help individuals on adhering to the safety measures and thus increase the effective prevention of Covid-19 in Ikorodu and Lagos as a whole.
