The diversion of traffic coming through the counterflow from Mile12 back to the normal lanes has been extended to the Ojota Interchange (from Ikosi Road junction).
Motorists coming from Ikorodu are advised to move as follows:
If you will be going straight through IkoroduRd to Ojota and beyond, you can use the Mile12 Bridge to join the counterflow inward Ketu to the Interchange and continue your journey.
If you will be linking any inner road between Mile12 and Ketu, or going through IkosiRoad/FruitMarket towards 7Up/Tollgate, avoid Mile12 Bridge and go through the service lane down to Ketu and continue your journey.
If you are going towards Alapere to link the Third mainland bridge, You can use:
A. Mile12 Bridge through the counterflow to the Interchange to connect Ojota-Bridge inward Alapere to continue your journey
B. Mile12 UBridge inward Ajelogo to Alapere to connect the expressway, then make a UTurn at 7Up/Tollgate to head back to Alapere and continue your journey.
Road users are enjoined to be patient and drive carefully. Our officers will be fully on ground to manage traffic flow.
