
In a bid to reduce the level of hunger amongst the starved in Ikorodu, The Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club made a positive impact once again on the 14th of January 2021.
Volunteer Women Members of the Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club Took to the Grammar School Road, Ota Ona Axis Of Ikorodu to publicly share food items.
From Okada Riders, Keke Maruwa Drivers, Passer-by & Residents Of the Community were supported to the surprise of all inhabitants during the morning hours of the food Distribution.
The hunger reducing project which according to the Club’s Chair Person (Lion Adeola Rotinwa PMJF NLCF) is a monthly plan to support the needy and starved around the community.
“What we have witnessed here today indicates that alot of people needs food, this is why we are calling Stakeholders across Ikorodu Division to join force and partner with us in this monthly course we have been delivering to the good people of Ikorodu” Lion Adeola Rotinwa
“As you can see the happiness on the faces of the community dwellers coming to collect their food, We have fed over 300 people today which some can use for their breakfasts or lunch as time permits them”
“This is just the beginning for us at the Ikorodu Pioneer Virtual Lions Club, 2021 we shall be Organising alot of empowernment programs to enable our youths shun violence and embrace peace.
We are hearing about alot of killings Happening around us presently which is not good for the growth and development of Ikorodu, It is time for us to see what we can do more to divert the mindsets of our young ones from every form of Social vices” Lion Adeola Rotinwa Added
