Hon Oluwatoyin Gafaar Bolowotan highlighted his numerous accomplishments as Lagos sports DG, touching down at Ikorodu west LCDA on the 11th of May 2022.

Received by LGA ward members and excos, the former Lagos sports commission boss reiterated how he facilitated 104 direct jobs into the State Civil Service and 50 other Adhoc staff employment and also ensured the employment of professional State coaches where 25 additional coaches were engaged.

Bolowotan continued, “I secured the increment of athletes grant to our sportsmen and women. This also included an upgrade of welfare packages for all athletes representing Lagos”.

“Not to forget how I facilitated Lagos State Government Financial Support to Team Lagos Athletes who qualified for the last Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. This includes Ikorodu’s Seye Ogunlewe and Ahmed Koleosho plus the facilitation of a Hiace bus by the State Government to the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria”.

On a larger scale, Bolowotan who was very instrumental in the last AFCON Nations cup qualifying matches further stated how he facilitated the return of the National team to Lagos after 20 years.
