Marking the commencement of Imota Students Union Week 2022, the union held a Special Jum’at Prayer to set the week of engaging activities in motion.

The prayer session which took place at the Imota Central Mosque, Opopo Quarters on the 11th of November 2022 was presided over by Alhaji Ibrahim Owoyele.

Organised to retain a religious prayer round for Students in Imota both home and in diaspora in an Islamic manner, the Ranodu of Imota, HRM, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade-Agoro also graced the prayer session.

The King urged the union to always commit their activities to the hands of Almighty Allah, adding that they should pray for the betterment of the LCDA, division, State and nation.

Comrade Ogunbowale Olatayo Bodunrin, President of the Imota Students union on his path noted that the prayer is as well to necessitate peaceful coexistence and campaign against the crisis in society which is now a big issue besieging Nigeria’s contemporary societies.

Asserting that it is meant to intercede for Students’ and general youth development.

This year’s ISU week is tagged ‘Making Waves’.
