Keeping to his words, post birthday promise of improving competent accountants in his community, HRM, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade-Agoro, Ranodu of Imota has enrolled Four Students to enrich their accounting discipline.
The scholarship known as ‘The Oba Ranodu Best WAEC Prize program’, meant to boost the student’s credentials was proposed by the paramount ruler on his birthday through the Imota Students Union Platform.
Showing gratitude, awarded students and their parents paid a visit to the king’s palace in appreciation of the support, aimed at enabling education standards and assisting the students to stay focused on their studies.
HRM, Oba Ajibade-Agoro, affirmed to the parents that the free training comes with free transportation till the students write their final exams and attain a key step in their quest to become chartered accountants.
The students are; Udor Adora Ufuoma, odutola oreoluwa Christiana both from Ifelodun high school oke-agbo, Imota, Emmanuel Grace Chinedu from Ansar-ud-deen Grammar School, Imota and Agbaje Erionaara Deborah from Imota Community Senior Grammar School, Imota.
Presenting his official accounting firm letterhead to the beneficiaries, the King further accepted sponsoring one of the Imota Students Union member, facing financial difficulty, who also showed interest in partaking in the scholarship program.
