With 22 stops in sight across the southwest part of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu 4 President 2023 support group took the entire Ojo local government by surprise on the 10th of December 2023.

Maintaining the campaign trail for the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, residents, students and traders were thrilled with the group’s voyage presence, distributing massive theme items which culminated with music and dance.

In the early hours of the beautiful Saturday, the group trudged from Iba bridge to Pako market, proceeding from Oniba palace down to Site Market, and touched down Ishashi town market along Badagry express road before heading to Ijanikin Palace.

The full-day march further took the group marshalling through ring road, Oloto’s Palace, Iyana Era, Shibiri and Imude community, to Elete Palace, drawing the curtains through Ajangbadi Sabo, Alaba International Market to Ojo town via Oloja’s Palace.

At the climax of the rally, the group was received by HRM, Oba Adeniyi Galib Rufai, Olojo Of Ojo Kingdom, who lauded the trend for reaching the nooks and crannies of his kingdom.

The King further committed his backing for the APC presidential candidate (Bola Tinubu), releasing goodwill statements and blessings upon the group.

Shedding light on the campaign moves, Mr Fola Tinubu, DG of the group explained that the goal is to urge everyone across the southwest and the entire nation to give their votes to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, without specifying numbers, the group will continue to go out and campaign for Tinubu in admiration of his leadership qualities which is glaring for all to see.

He continued, “You and I saw the enthusiasm of people all around Ojo local government today, dancing and excited to see us. Everywhere we went, we gave residents campaign souvenirs (made up of tea shirts and caps)”.

“They all crave a piece of Bola Tinubu as we moved around, it indicates the care and love of the people for Asiwaju, who are clamouring for him to become the next president of Nigeria”.

“Our message is calling on all southwest individuals in possession of their PVC, I.e Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and other tribes to bestow massive support to Bola Tinubu come to the 2023 general elections”.

“We’ll continue to go all out and talk to them, convincing them to place their trust and confidence in the renewed hope we’ve found in Asiwaju,” He said.

Focusing on Lagos, Mr Fola Tinubu further mentioned that its crusade is also to persuade voters to re-elect Lagos state governor, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and deputy, Obafemi Hamzat for a second term due to their praiseworthy feat in bringing the state out of Covid-19 pandemic and further propagating growth on multiple sectors.

“To crown it up, our campaign is to lay every APC flag bearer across the state in the spotlight for victory, but most significantly, the big picture for us come 2023, is for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the next president of Nigeria” He added.

Also speaking with Ikorodu News Network (INN), Mr Olajide Odeoye, Head of Planning and logistics for the group divulged that subsequent roadshows will behold more headway and allures by the group.

According to Odeoye, the Ojo crusade (which is the group’s 3rd in a series) successfully reached out to individuals who would normally not be invited to campaign rallies, asserting that the overall happiness ascertained is a positive clue to triumph for the party (APC).

“We took out time to take our movement to eligible voters who’ll not be chance to attend campaign gatherings, we met them at their places of work and homes, knowing how industrial-minded Ojo is to Lagos state”.

“Continuously taking the awareness to the masses, reminding them of the performance of our candidates, it sticks to their minds, and come 2023, that’s the principal they’ll be clamouring for” Mr Olajide affirmed.

The group plans to take the campaign to Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti States, hitting two major areas of each southwest province.

Hon. EGE Olusegun Adebisi, APC Ojo constituency 1 candidate also chaperoned the group during the campaign.
