Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has successfully delivered a state-of-the-art block comprising five classrooms and eight modern toilets for Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo.
The culmination of this transformative project occurred on January 9, 2024, with the grand unveiling and commissioning conducted by Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro (AMA), the distinguished Chairman of the House Committee on Public-Private Partnership.
Before the official commissioning, Bldr Sesan Daini, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, underscored the responsive nature of the project which was not only built but fully furnished, emphasizing its direct alignment with the school administration’s requirements.
The overarching goal was to create an environment conducive to optimal learning.
Notably, the addition of eight toilets was strategically integrated to address the imperative of preventing students from venturing outside during school hours.

The grand ceremony witnessed expressions of gratitude from Bldr Sesan Daini, who extended appreciation to leaders and stakeholders for their significant presence.
He attributed the successful completion of the project to his unwavering commitment to fulfilling promises made to the electorate during his tenure.
Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, a former commissioner for agriculture in Lagos state, took the opportunity to urge mothers to play an instrumental role in shaping the upbringing of their children.
He stressed the profound impact of education, advice, and prayers in moulding the character and future of the younger generation.
Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe commended the Chairman for his receptiveness to advice and issued a plea for the school administration to diligently maintain the newly constructed facilities.
Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, a permanent board member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), lauded the Chairman’s proactive involvement of SUBEB in educational projects, emphasizing the historical significance of recording these contributions in the state archives.
Hon. Aro Moshood, who represents Ikorodu constituency 2 at the Lagos state House of Assembly extended heartfelt congratulations to the forward-thinking community of Igbogbo-Baiyeku under the leadership of Bldr Olusesan Daini.
Chief Mrs. Karimat Ojikutu, the Iyalode of the Igbogbo Kingdom, expressed profound appreciation for the outstanding work accomplished by the Council Chairman, recognizing its positive impact on the community.
Mrs Ogunfeyimi Olawunmi, Methodist Primary School Administrator, expressed sincere gratitude to Builder Daini for fulfilling his promise within an impressive 60-day timeframe.

Residents have largely commended the commissioning as a remarkable milestone in the LCDA’s unwavering commitment to advancing educational development within the Igbogbo Baiyeku community.
