The Oriwu College Old Student Association of Nigeria (OCOSAN) from the 75-80 class set has presented their alma mater with a meticulously crafted interlocking concrete road.
Officially named “75-80 Sets Avenue,” the project not only marks a significant enhancement to the school’s infrastructure but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Akeem Bello, the departing principal of Oriwu Senior College in Ikorodu, on his 60th birthday.
The construction was done from the school gate to the administration block.
Chief Labi Ishola Lemomu, Chair of the OCOSAN Board of Trustees, presided over the ceremony, underscoring the association’s commitment to propelling positive change within their cherished institution.
The newly inaugurated road, a manifestation of the 75-80 class set’s dedication, introduces a touch of modernity and functionality to Oriwu College.
In attendance were enthusiastic members of the 75-80 class set, revelling in the realization of their collective aspirations.
Mr. Akeem Bello, the esteemed outgoing principal, graced the occasion with his family, sharing in the joy of the dual celebration.

Commissioned on the 11th of January 2024, the newly constructed road gracefully meanders through the school premises, becoming a lasting legacy to the enduring unity among Oriwu College’s old students.
