Poised to enhance governance and provide a conducive space for legislative activities, the Ikorodu Local Government has unveiled plans for a new one-story legislative complex.

The blueprint, presented to Ikorodu News Network (INN) on Monday 26th of February 2024, outlines a modern facility comprising 10 spaces, strategically divided between the upper and lower floors.

The architectural marvel will house essential components such as the Glass House, a contemporary Library, and a cutting-edge Chamber.

Additionally, the complex will be equipped with essential facilities, including bathrooms and toilets, ensuring the comfort and convenience of occupants.

Hon. Wasiu Adesina, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, expressed optimism about the project’s swift completion, setting an ambitious timeline of six months.

The announcement comes as a testament to the local government’s commitment to providing its constituents with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The Glass House is anticipated to offer a transparent and open space for public engagement, symbolizing the government’s dedication to transparency and accountability.

The Library is projected to become a knowledge hub, catering to the research and informational needs of the legislative body.

The legislative Chamber, a focal point of the complex, is designed to facilitate effective and efficient decision-making.
