Aarebirin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) for what she described as the seamless and rancour-free conduct of its State Congresses across the country.
In a statement released following the conclusion of the congresses, the Global Director General of the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) and Board of Trustees member of ALGONVC attributed the smooth exercise to what she termed the impactful and visionary leadership within the ruling party.
Princess Olabanji-Oba specifically commended the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, alongside the party’s National Chairman, State Chairmen and other key stakeholders, for ensuring unity and orderliness throughout the process.
According to her, the peaceful outcome of the State Congresses came as no surprise, noting that she had earlier predicted a hitch-free exercise following the successful conduct of the Ward and Local Government Congresses.
She particularly referenced the South-West region, expressing confidence in the organizational strength of the party in the President’s geopolitical base.
“The seamless conduct of the APC State Congresses across Nigeria is a clear reflection of purposeful and strategic leadership within the party,” she stated, adding that the development further reinforces internal cohesion ahead of future political engagements.
Princess Olabanji-Oba also extended appreciation to leaders and members of various APC support groups and party faithful nationwide for their loyalty and commitment to the party’s ideals.
She assured that broad consultations would continue among stakeholders to guarantee a smooth and inclusive campaign process as preparations gradually begin toward the 2027 General Elections.
She congratulated all returned and newly elected APC State Chairmen, Secretaries and Executive Committee members across the federation, with special recognition for the newly elected leadership of the party in Lagos State.
The APC recently concluded its State Congresses nationwide, marking another phase in its internal democratic process as the party consolidates structures across all levels.
