The Oyetty Foundation has achieved a significant milestone in its ongoing support for a family in Ilesha, Osun State, with the successful completion of the roofing of a residential building developed for a mother and her child with special needs.
The project, fully executed by the Foundation, is part of its sustained intervention for Mrs. Oginni Olabisi, who caters for her son, Master Isiah Oginni, a child living with autism.
The housing initiative follows an earlier empowerment programme in 2025, during which the Foundation provided business startup equipment to Mrs. Oginni to support her livelihood.
At the time, she also appealed for assistance in completing her building, which was then at the foundation stage.
In response, the Oyetty Foundation commenced construction work on the property in February 2026.
As of April 2026, the building has now been completely roofed, marking a major step toward its final completion.
Speaking on the progress, the project supervisor, Lion Isola Oladimeji, described the development as a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to holistic support.
“With the roofing now completed, we are closer to delivering a safe and comfortable home for the family.
“This project is a reflection of our mission to not only empower beneficiaries economically but also improve their living conditions,” he said.

Reacting to the development, Mrs. Oginni Olabisi commended Mrs Oyetola Akande and the foundation for what she described as a timely and impactful intervention.
“I sincerely appreciate the Oyetty Foundation for standing by my family. This support has greatly reduced my burden and given us hope.”
“Helping me develop this house means a lot, especially as I care for my son. May God bless everyone involved,” she said.
The Foundation noted that the intervention is aimed at cushioning the hardships faced by parents raising children with special needs, while promoting dignity, stability, and long-term wellbeing.
With the roofing phase now completed, the project is expected to advance toward final finishing, further reinforcing the Foundation’s role in delivering life-changing support to vulnerable families.
