Aarebirin Hon. Princess Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba, National Deputy Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGONVC) and Global Director General of the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM), has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to James Abiodun Faleke following his appointment as a member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).
In her message, Aarebirin Olabanji-Oba described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it reflects Faleke’s longstanding dedication, exemplary leadership, and consistent contributions to governance and party development within the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and national levels.
She commended the lawmaker, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for his impactful initiatives over the years.
According to her, Faleke’s interventions—ranging from large-scale empowerment programmes for youths, women, and the elderly, to sustained support for law enforcement agencies—have significantly improved livelihoods and strengthened community structures.
The ALGONVC chieftain also highlighted Faleke’s role in infrastructural development, citing projects such as road construction, school development, and the installation of solar-powered street lights across his constituency and beyond.
She noted that these efforts underscore his commitment to grassroots development and people-oriented governance.
Aarebirin Olabanji-Oba further described Faleke’s inclusion in the GAC as both fitting and reassuring, emphasizing that the council would benefit from his wealth of experience, tested leadership, and strategic insight.
She expressed confidence that his presence would contribute meaningfully to policy direction and decision-making processes in Lagos State.
“Your inclusion in the GAC places a seasoned and people-oriented leader at the heart of strategic governance for our dear state,” she stated, adding that Faleke’s track record of service continues to inspire confidence among party members and the general public.
She concluded by praying for greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the lawmaker as he assumes the new responsibility, expressing optimism that his tenure would usher in further progress, unity, and prosperity for Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
