PRESTIGE OLORI CDA COMMENDS SANWO-OLU OVER RURAL WATER SCHEME INSTALLATION ~ INN Nigeria ☆

Residents of Prestige Olori Community Development Association (CDA), formerly known as Lowa Oworen Radelu CDA, have expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for the installation of a water scheme aimed at improving access to potable water in the community.

Speaking on behalf of the community on the 16th of June 2026, the Vice-Chairman of Prestige Olori CDA, Alhaji Ahmed Kalejaiye, described the project as a significant intervention that will enhance the well-being of residents and address water supply challenges within the area.

According to Alhaji Kalejaiye, the water facility, which is strategically located along the roadside, is designed not only to serve residents of the host community but also neighbouring communities and motorists who may require water in emergency situations.

“The location of the water scheme makes it accessible to both residents and road users. It is a thoughtful project that will benefit many people beyond our immediate community,” he said.

Alhaji Kalejaiye also commended the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, for his commitment and dedication towards ensuring the successful execution of the project.

In his remarks, Dr. Agbaje praised Governor Sanwo-Olu for extending water infrastructure projects to rural communities across the state.

He noted that the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to improving the quality of life of residents in underserved areas.

The Special Adviser stated that the provision of potable water in rural communities aligns with the Governor’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda, particularly in the areas of social inclusion, infrastructure development, and sustainable community growth.
