PRESTIGE OLORI CDA VICE CHAIRMAN EXPLAINS CHANGE OF NAME FROM LOWA OWOREN RADELU CDA ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Vice Chairman of Prestige Olori Community Development Association (CDA), Alhaji Ahmed Kalejaiye, has explained the reasons behind the association’s decision to change its name from Lowa Oworen Radelu CDA to Prestige Olori CDA.

Speaking on the development, Alhaji Kalejaiye disclosed that the name change became necessary due to challenges encountered during the official registration process.

According to him, the former name posed difficulties because of its broad usage and lack of distinctiveness, as several other communities were also operating under similar names.

He noted that the existence of multiple communities using related names created confusion and made it difficult to establish a unique identity for the association during documentation and registration procedures.

“The CDA is wide, and we observed that other communities were making use of similar names. This did not provide the clarity needed for official registration and proper identification,” Alhaji Kalejaiye explained.

To address the issue, the association adopted the name Prestige Olori CDA, which has now been fully registered and properly documented with the relevant authorities.

Alhaji Kalejaiye emphasized that the association should henceforth be officially recognized as Prestige Olori CDA, stating that the former name, Lowa Oworen Radelu CDA, is no longer in use.

He added that the successful registration of the new name will enhance the association’s identity, improve administrative processes, and eliminate any ambiguity regarding its official status within the community development framework.
