DR AGBAJE URGES IKORODU RESIDENTS TO SECURE PVCs, BACK APC AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Lagos State Special Adviser on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje took advantage of the 2026 Liwe Woro Traditional Festival in Ikorodu to advocate increased political participation and mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during the cultural celebration, Dr. Agbaje called on eligible voters to prioritise the acquisition and protection of their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), describing them as indispensable tools for democratic participation.

He noted that the electoral process offers citizens a unique opportunity to shape government policies and leadership choices, stressing that voter readiness would play a crucial role in determining the outcome of future elections.

The Special Adviser also used the occasion to encourage continued loyalty to the ruling APC, urging members and supporters to remain united in advancing the party’s political objectives across Lagos State and the nation.

Highlighting the achievements recorded under APC administrations, Dr. Agbaje argued that sustaining ongoing developmental initiatives would require continuity in leadership.

He therefore appealed to residents to support President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office, stating that such support would further advance the Renewed Hope Agenda and accelerate Nigeria’s transformation.

He also canvassed support for Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the APC governorship candidate whom he described as a competent and experienced leader capable of sustaining the progress achieved under the current administration.

Dr. Agbaje subsequently urged party faithful to intensify grassroots engagement, expand voter sensitisation efforts, and encourage wider participation in the democratic process as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections begin to gather pace.
