BISHOP FESTUS OMOMAJEMU CONDEMNS OWO CHURCH KILLINGS AS SATANIC & BARBARIC, CALLS ON CHURCH LEADERS IN NIGERIA TO PRAY AGAINST INSECURITY ®™√ INN Nigeria © — 6 Jun 2022

BISHOP FESTUS OMOMAJEMU CONDEMNS OWO CHURCH KILLINGS AS SATANIC & BARBARIC, CALLS ON CHURCH LEADERS IN NIGERIA TO PRAY AGAINST INSECURITY ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

Amidst the dreadful scene in the news on Sunday, 5th June 2022, after the terror attack at St. Francis Catholic church in Owo town of Ondo State, Nigeria, the youngest bishop and General overseer of the True covenant Gospel church of God, who’s also known as Omomajemu has expressed total sadness and vexation.
Reviewing exodus 13:20, Bishop Festus Otunsanya, Preparing for his ministry’s 10th anniversary declared that killing innocent people in itself is satanic not to converse with killings inside the house of God.
“Yes, there is the saying that whatever happens, God is aware, But God can never be in support of such inhumane acts that are poise to tear this country apart”.
“Time and time again we’ve expressed our requisite to the government about these types of killings for them to strengthen our security level in this country, but it seems they’re focus is in other areas rather than the lives of innocent Nigerians”.
“What happened in Owo has been happening in other churches in the northern region of this nation, but it is obvious that this one has hit closer to home and it must be stopped immediately”.
Bishop Festus argued that the church has been quiet for too long, asserting that it is time for the church to speak out in one voice and fight against every form of principalities daring to quench the body of Christ.
He continued, “The Bible states that if we see something bad and don’t say it, it means we’re guilty as well”.
“The church must surge and pray for this country to end every structure of insecurity once and for all. That’s precisely what I told our leaders at the executive council meeting I was in when the news broke, we had to pause and pray against insecurity”.
“It is time for us to come together and pray for the mercy of God, to bring his judgement against these evil people, be it political or any form I don’t care to know, the truth is every act of violence against the church must stop” Bishop Festus surmised
The youngest bishop who was infuriated about the scenario also stated that the church will no longer sleep until the judgement of God descends on every culprit bringing tears to the church.

Seeing nothing visible to warrant the penalty play that decided the game, Bishop Festus Otunsanya (founder, TCCG FC), dispatched the video across to NLO executives to which he has since gotten a reply.

According to the youngest Bishop, His squad has been begged to remain patient for the administration to deliver an arbiter for the unfair treatment.

He also added that the executive has called out the referee’s unprofessional blunder which will warrant an immediate suspension eventually.
Bishop Otunsanya continued, “Mr Sola (NLO’s DG) watched the video and agreed with us that the play never merited any penalty shootout as was called by the umpire, acknowledging that the referee made a serious mistake”

“Subsequently, Mr Sola averred that the league is trying its utmost best to ensure that errors of such magnitude are avoided to safeguard the reputation of the league”
However, the Bishop further called on football Administrators, Managers, Coaches and lovers of the sport to pay close attention to all the inadequacies happening to the game in Nigeria.
“Bribery and corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of our football system, we are bored of spending money to get good players, employing capable coaches, spending huge amount of money to improve the standard of our football team, while few people come in to decide the outcome of the matches after been bribed and manipulated”

“This video is a good example of what we’re facing during games, even when the line-man raised his flag for a goal kick, the referee still blew the whistle for a penalty against the Home team (TCCG FC)”

“Such acts of misconduct should not be tolerated because this is not the kind of football system we are praying to engage our strength and finances on” Bishop Otunsanya concluded
