
Mr. Adewale Jackson Convener of the Lagos Youth Ambassador (Ikorodu Division) took the school Outreach deep into the heart of Bayeiku (Ikorodu) in quest to strenghten the youths on the Risks embedded in living a dangerous life.
The program which is aimed at building the mindset of the young ones on how to prevent themselves from becoming a problem to the community focused on Reri Secondary School and Oreta community grammar school Bayeiku in Ikorodu after touching down in Ipakodo Senior Grammar School & United High School in the week prior.
Just like the first outreach, the program was supported by the Milecent Foundation, Ikorodu News, World of Dance Entertainment, Ikorodu Division youth Initiative Movement & the JCI yabatech.
It was engaging, interactive and morally uplifting to the students on both sides as issues of Child abuse, teenage pregnancy, examination malpractise, drug abuse, cultism and making profitable decision was addressed thoroughly.
The program on this edition hosted Olori Adeyemi Kalejaiye, Director guidance & counselling Education district, representing the TGPS.Mrs. Adeyemi praised the organizers for initiating such an impactful program as she went ahead to advice all students to focus on their studies.
“Everyone of you should see your life as a fragile butterfly in a soft grip, it is how you handle yourself that will determine how successful your dreams will come true” says Mrs. Adeyemi.
She promised the students that more of such programs will be coming their way courtesy of the state government
and added that works are ongoing to provide special counselors to cater to most issues affecting the students on
regular basis.
