IGBOGBO STUDENTS’ UNION INAUGURATES NEW EXECUTIVES WITH DIGNITARIES AT ADEBORUWA’S PALACE~ INN Nigeria

New Executives of the Igbogbo Students’ Union was inaugurated on the 9th of January 2021 at the Adeboruwa’s Palace in Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA of Ikorodu.
The inauguration saw Dignitaries and personalities across Ikorodu Division gracing the event to support the incoming executives as they set up a new standards to enhance the Union.
Mrs Abiola Ogunlewe (Guest Speaker) spoke to the union on ‘Prevailing Health Challenges (Using Covid-19 As a case study) emphasizing on Leadership and Productive Performances.
“There is no one that would not positively appraise Gov Sanwo-Olu for his Performances so far in handling the Coronavirus which is ravaging the world today. It is in times like this you’re able to access Effective Leadership” Mrs Ogunlewe
With plans to upgrade and project more Educative and skilful agendas, The New President of the Union Com Clinton Adeniji stated that the his leadership has observed closely the flaws of his predecessors and intends to capitalise positively to grow the union in his era.
“In as much as we are not faulting our past Administration, we are very ready to transform this union and create a new drive as we usher in our 2021 agenda plans” Com Clinton Adeniji
“We are Internally grateful to all our leaders and Dignitaries that graced this great program to not only orientate us but also to support our new courses, Words Cannot describe our gratitude”
“If there’s anything Igbogbo Students’ Union is known for is our mode of engaging students to grow academically and we intend to further that good will” Com Clinton Added.
Amongst the Dignitaries is Ikorodu’s Apex Leader Chief Asipa Olusanya Kaoli, The Executive Chairman Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA Olusesan Daini, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba (Vice Chairman Ikorodu LGA), Deen Sanwo-Ola (Director General iCare Foundation), Mrs Abiola Ogunlewe, Chief Mrs Olowo, Engr. Gbenga Ogunlewe, Alhaji Amusa MT Olawale (Proprietor HOMAT Group Of Schools), Comrade Lekan Billiamin Oba (Chairman National Youth Council Nigeria {Lagos Chapter}, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu (Executive Director IDYI) and others.
In his Speech as chairman of the occasion, Chief Asipa Olusanya Kaoli Congratulated Comrade Clinton Adeniji whom is also a past student of his Educational Institution (Kith & Kin International Schools, Owode-Ibeshe), And Admonished him to stay Focus on his course to make a positive impact in the union as he ushers in a new Adminstration.

In his remark, The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Sesan Daini Thanked all Dignitaries present at the event, using the same medium to pledge his support for the incoming Igbogbo Students Union Executives.
“My Administration will always partner with the Igbogbo Students Union. I shall be having a personal meeting with the New Executives to ascertain their Agenda in order to know areas in which our support will be more significant” Sesan Daini
After the official installation and Inauguration proceedings was done, A public discuss followed which was projected by Deen Sanwo-Ola with the topic “Plausible Effect of Community Development On Personal Growth”.

The Vice Chairman of Ikorodu LGA Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba took the topic “Harnessing Opportunities from the grassroots towards global Representation”.
“Certification is one thing, The skills we have acquired is another. In Order for us to maximize the opportunities that life has presented to us, We must balance both sides to grow faster” Princess Folashade
“Looking At the profile of the president coming and other members of the Executives, I am very positive that this new Executives will perform better and also in the next ten years, I see them as promising leaders ever across Ikorodu Division and beyond” Princess Folashade Added
Mr Tolulope Faniyi (Chairman Of De Vanguard) talked about the Role Of Unionism In Self Development.
“Unionism in a community is very essential in the growth and development of any region. Now as a union you must avoid white elephant programs that will have little or no impact in the society, Let your programs touch lives and transform souls, in this way your Administration will not be forgotten” Mr Tolulope Faniyi.
