With a lot of program lined up to be implemented in this year’s Ikorodu oga day celebration scheduled to run from 13th to 20th of November 2021, Ikorodu news network (INN) retained a brief chat with both executors of its market expo 3 and food festival, ascertaining their protrusions.
Mr Ogunsanmi Hassan (Managing Director Ikorodu Tourism limited) in partnership with IKODASS is the propeller of Ikorodu food festival which entails food exhibition and sales to showcase cultural delicacies during the celebration week.
According to Mr Hassan “The Food festival tagged ‘My food My Identity’ is set to hold on the 16th of November, for food sales experience. The aim is to expand our local food to the International Space giving our intricacies more significance”

In parting, Mr Hassan declared “We have schools coming together this year to compete in preparing the food, afterwards the selected 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will voyage to Abuja to attend the International food fair also presenting this same food”
Similarly, Ikorodu Market Expo 3, a business-oriented engagement that integrates Hair, beauty, fashion and other commerce activities during the festival is stimulated by Ultra Signatures limited in alliance with IKODASS.
In her description, Ariola Okeowo (CEO Ultra Signatures limited) “Ikorodu market expo can be likened to a trade fair for businesses to exhibit their products and service to Ikorodu division, this collaboration is set to bring small business brands, medium and even big enterprises to display their items to IKODASS audience”
“This is the 3rd edition, so aside from the enlisted vendors coming around on that day, we’re also expecting everyone participating during the celebration to patronise our merchants, interact with them, it is feasible one might not require their services instantaneously, but retaining permit to their references would be helpful for future purposes”
