Bldr. Olusesan M. Daini was honoured by Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget in conjunction with Lagoon s State Operations Coordinating Unit (LASOCU) with an award of Appreciation as the Most Supportive LG/LCDA Chairman on the 14th of December 2021
The Ministry celebrated and awarded the performing Executive Chairman for being the council boss with calculated data base of 21,581 households, depicting an average of 68,949 individuals on the National Social Register, a unit of the Federal, States and LGA/LCDA with the vision and mission of nipping poverty in the bud.
More importantly, Bldr. Olusesan M. Daini had repeatedly drawn names of hundreds of unknown widows and aged people for disbursement of money, food, home appliances etc.
The State coordinator of Lagos SOCU, Mrs oluwakemi Adedeji asserted her gratitude to the Executive Chairman for being a humanitarian, treating the welfare of widows and age people as a stringent priority.
In his acceptance speech, Daini stated categorically that the data Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA shares with Lagos SOCU make it easy for him to get access to people that are in dire need of help in an egalitarian posture.
He further disclosed that his government will disburse more fund to entrust more widows and aged people, captured on the database while more family will be reckoned in the new first quarter of 2022
