With membership acceptance based on mutual trust and respect, dignity and best business practices, Ikorodu chamber of commerce and Industry’s businesswomen group (ICCI NAWORG) opens channels for new prospects to consolidate with its enterprise trajectories

The group (a local alliance birthed from the National Association of chambers, commerce mines and Agric {NACCIMA}) aimed at promoting and protecting business interests of private Sector operators by healthy networking, advanced the modification of its structure at a meeting held on the 3rd of February 2022

Presided over by Alhaja Zainab Alogba (Coordinator, ICCI NAWORG Ikorodu), the faction furthermore lag partnership with all tiers of Government, but also poised to criticize or disagree with bad policies and/or actions of the Government and positioned to commend the good works and policies of Government that enhance better living standards and economic growth of Nigerians

Alhaji Zainab in the post-meeting interview with Ikorodu News Network (INN) stated, “As a group, we settle disputes or disagreements that may arise within the Chambers of Commerce Movement internally and avoid members taking grievances to the Law Courts for settlement without first recourse to the intervention of the Chamber of Commerce or Association as the case may demand”

“We ensure our members respect the confidentiality of Business/Trade secrets information of constituent members entrusted to us by not taking advantage of fellow members’ recognised weaknesses and not unethically seeking to take over the ownership of a member’s business or rights”

“For interested men seeking to join us, as long as they’re registered members of Ikorodu chamber of commerce and industry (ICCI), they have an automatic pass, but for the women coming to join us newly, they have to first register with ICCI before facilitating their membership with us”

“We’re loyal in all our dealings, demonstrating mutual respect for the laws of the land and other Nations, with fair, firm and transparent customers, suppliers and competitor’s relationship, respecting the right to fair competition as an acceptable Global phenomenon” Alhaja Alogba substantiated
