TRADE FAIR 2022: NEW ICCI EXCOS EMBARKS ON ROYAL ACQUAINTANCE MEET ACROSS IKORODU DIVISION, SEEKS LG/LCDAs INVOLVEMENT ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

With the 2022 trade fair organised by Ikorodu chamber of commerce and Industry (ICCI) fast approaching, its new excos is leaving no stone unturned in making its presence felt.

In a bid to establish an inclusive platform for business owners across Ikorodu division, Ikorodu News Network (INN) joined the chamber in their recent royal familiarity tour across the LG/LCDAs in Ikorodu.

The trade fair is in partnership with the Lagos State ministry of commerce, Industry and cooperatives, and Lagos State University of science and technology (LASUSTECH) formerly LASPOTECH.

Recently launching its official website to assist small-scale business owners, the chamber initiated the strategic meeting with the royal fathers to bridge the grassroots with the industrial leverages they offer.

Giving more enterprise proprietors portable networks and accessibility, the team, led by the chamber’s new president, Chief (Engr.) R.O Shoderu was chaperoned by the immediate past president of the chamber, Prof. Emeritus Kunle Ade Wahab, and Lagos State Coordinator, NACCIMA business women group, Mrs Akande Igbekele.

From the jump, the delegates were received first by HRM, Oba Richard Ogunsanya, Olubehse of Ibeshe kingdom before heading to the palace of HRM, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom.

Presenting the chamber’s new excos to the kings, Chief Shoderu seized the medium to update the paramount rulers about the forthcoming trade fair and its significance to traders in Ikorodu.

He added that the chamber also intends to involve the LG/LCDAs council bosses, with plans to give more access to local market outlets.

Touching on acquiring vendors, Chief Shoderu asserted that business owners can merge with other similar dealers to secure their space at discount prices.

Chief Oloruntele Oduloye (1st deputy president), Prince Seye Adedipe (2nd deputy president), Mrs Adeola Rotinwa (1st Vice President), Mr F.A Ewunuga, Alhaji F.B Salami and the director general, Mrs Kehinde Adelaja were among delegates in the royal courtesy stop.

Capping their response, both traditional leaders lauded the excos for deciding to visit and intimate the palace on the new chamber structure, affirming their support towards the 2022 trade fair.

Before this meeting, the chamber had touched down at the palace of the Ranodu of Imota, HRM, Oba Ajibade Mudashiru Bakare-Agoro.

The trade fair comes up on the 4th to 11th of December 2022 at Lagos State University of Science & Technology (Formerly Laspotech) in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
