Ikorodu Justice Forum ushered in the new year with a historic party at the APC Secretariat Office in Ikorodu Oke-Ota Ona.

Showcasing elegance, the event was graced by distinguished personalities, notably Former Deputy Governor Mr. Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun, and Former Commissioner of Agriculture Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya.

Commencing with a harmonious blend of religious prayers led by Alhaji Shoyiga and Deac. Funmilayo Osuolale, encompassing both Muslim and Christian perspectives.

Chairman of the Justice Forum Caucus APC, Ikorodu Division, Alhaji Gafaru M. A, welcomed attendees to what he dubbed a “historic end-of-year party.”

Acknowledging the party’s triumphs in various elections, he expressed gratitude to leaders and elected officers for their unwavering support.

During his address, Alhaji Gafaru M. A emphasized the party’s role as pacesetters, urging members to remain steadfast and expressing gratitude for their collective efforts.

Key figures like Prince Rotimi Ogunleye and Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun encouraged party members to retain their strength, highlighting the current national challenges as temporary.

Bashorun solicited members to excel in their assignments and offered prayers for party leaders in preparation for the upcoming elections in 2024 and 2027.

Alhaji Jimoh Olasunkanmi Tijani clarified the significance of the Justice Forum within the APC, distinguishing it from the Mandate Group.

He emphasized the forum’s establishment in 1999 as a major caucus within the Lagos APC.

On his path, Chief Asipa Kaoli Olusanya stressed the importance of unity for progress, stating, “A bird can’t fly with one hand – let’s come together for better results.”

Mr. Odidi Jimoh urged members to recruit more individuals into the party.

Former Deputy Governor Prince Abiodun Ogunleye called for unity in Ikorodu to achieve progress, emphasizing the need for collective effort to benefit from government initiatives.

In a closing expression of gratitude, Mr Adewusi Sulaimon thanked everyone present, including GAC leaders, council chairmen, party leaders, wards, and dignitaries, for their active participation in the celebratory event.
