OYETTY FOUNDATION DRIVES ECONOMIC HOPE FOR OSUN MOTHER, CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ~ INN Nigeria ☆

A humanitarian intervention by the Oyetty Foundation has brought renewed hope to a mother and her child in Ilesha, Osun State, following the presentation of livelihood support items to aid their economic stability.

The beneficiary, Mrs. Oginni Olabisi, a mother of three and the primary caregiver to her son, Master Isiah Oginni, who is living with autism, received business equipment to help her establish a sustainable source of income.

Items presented during the outreach included a deep freezer, an Equator hair dryer, metholated shampoo, Generator, Stabilizer, alongside other essential materials required to kick-start a hairdressing business.

The initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to promoting self-reliance among vulnerable individuals and families.

The outreach, held on April 27, 2025, builds on a similar intervention carried out by the Foundation on the same date in 2024, underscoring a tradition of consistent community support.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Foundation, Lion Isola Oladimeji stated that the gesture was focused on long-term impact rather than short-term assistance.

“This initiative is about creating opportunity and restoring dignity. At Oyetty Foundation, we believe empowerment is more meaningful when individuals are equipped to sustain themselves. We are confident that these items will serve as a foundation for a better and more stable future,” he said.

Responding, Mrs. Oginni expressed deep appreciation to the Foundation, describing the support as timely and transformative.

“This support means everything to me. It has given me hope and a chance to build something for myself and my child. I sincerely thank the Foundation for remembering us and for this opportunity to start a business that will help me take care of my son,” she said.

Beyond providing immediate relief, the intervention is expected to enhance the family’s economic resilience, particularly in meeting the demands associated with caring for a child with special needs.

The founder, Mrs. Oyetola Akande, emphasized the primary purpose of the foundation, stating that it is dedicated to supporting parents who have children with special needs.

She explained that the organization provides assistance by helping these parents establish small businesses, covering housing expenses such as rent, and funding their education or vocational training.

According to her, the aim is to empower them to become financially independent, enabling them to offer improved care and support for their children.

The Oyetty Foundation continues to position itself as a driver of grassroots impact, using targeted empowerment initiatives to uplift underserved members of society and foster long-term social change.
