Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Agbaje, has been honoured with the Leadership Excellence Award at the Ikorodu Man of the Year & Outstanding Personalities Award ceremony held at the Ikorodu Ultra-Modern Townhall.
The prestigious recognition was presented in acknowledgement of Dr. Agbaje’s remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Ikorodu Division through impactful rural community activities and life-improving programmes across the division.
Speaking on the award presentation, the organiser of the event, Damola Aderibigbe, stated that the honour was bestowed on Dr. Agbaje in recognition of his dedication to grassroots development and his unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of residents in rural communities.
According to Aderibigbe, Dr. Agbaje’s developmental initiatives and community-driven programmes have continued to positively influence lives across Ikorodu Division, making him deserving of the prestigious award.
The award ceremony, which attracted notable personalities, community stakeholders and dignitaries, celebrated individuals who have distinguished themselves in leadership, service and community development.
Receiving the award on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Ikorodu Ultra-Modern Townhall, Dr. Agbaje expressed appreciation to the organisers for the recognition while reaffirming his commitment to supporting programmes and policies aimed at advancing rural development and improving the living standards of the people.
