The Babajimi Benson re-election bid has received another boost ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election scheduled for tomorrow, as the Oba Adewamiri Ayokulehin Olaide Memorial Foundation publicly declared its support for the lawmaker.
Speaking on behalf of the foundation, Prince Kayode Olaide reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Benson, popularly known as JB, citing his continued contributions to the development of Ikorodu Division and his strong connection with the grassroots.
The foundation disclosed that its representatives would be present in Ibeshe Community to participate in the APC primary election and cast their votes for Benson at Ward C4, Ibeshe Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), where the federal lawmaker is registered.
The endorsement followed the well-attended endorsement programme organised by the Ibeshe Kingdom Development Association, held in honour of Benson’s re-election ambition.
The Oba Adewamiri Ayokulehin Olaide Memorial Foundation noted that its support for the lawmaker is also rooted in its long-standing commitment to the development of the Ibeshe Community, particularly in the area of education.
The foundation stated that for several years, it has consistently provided support to public schools within Ibeshe through educational assistance programmes and scholarship opportunities for students in the community.
Members of the foundation expressed confidence that Benson’s continued representation would further enhance development across Ikorodu Federal Constituency, while urging APC delegates and party members to support his return to the House of Representatives.
