
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election alongside his wife, Dr. Mrs. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at Ward E3, Eiyekole, St. Stephen School, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island.
The Governor disclosed that they joined fellow party members to cast their votes in support of Obafemi Hamzat during the APC governorship primary exercise.
Sanwo-Olu commended party faithful and residents for the peaceful conduct witnessed during the electoral process, noting that the impressive turnout reflected the commitment of members to democratic participation and party unity.
According to the Governor, the atmosphere at the polling venue was orderly and inspiring, as members exercised their civic responsibilities in a peaceful manner.
He further emphasized the importance of unity and collective commitment within the party, describing the exercise as a demonstration of confidence in the democratic process and the leadership of the APC in Lagos.
