ORIGAN CDA HAILS GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU OVER SUCCESSFUL WATER PROJECT IN OLORUNDA LCDA ~ INN Nigeria ☆

The Chairman of Origan Community Development Association (CDA), Engr. Bolaji Ketiku, has lauded Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the successful completion of a water supply project that is now providing residents of the community with access to clean and potable water.

The water project is sponsored by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, through the Office of Rural Development.

Speaking on the impact of the project, Engr. Ketiku described the intervention as a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to improve the welfare of residents at the grassroots level.

He noted that the availability of a reliable water source would greatly ease the challenges previously faced by community members in accessing safe water for domestic use.

According to him, the project reflects the Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to delivering people-oriented infrastructure and improving the quality of life in communities across Lagos State.

The Origan CDA chairman also expressed appreciation to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, for his dedication and supervision in ensuring the successful execution of the project.

He commended Dr. Agbaje for facilitating developmental initiatives that continue to bridge infrastructure gaps in rural and semi-urban communities, describing his efforts as instrumental to the progress being recorded in various parts of the state.

Addressing residents during the engagement, Dr. Agbaje emphasized the importance of community participation in safeguarding public infrastructure.

He urged beneficiaries of the water project to take collective responsibility for the facility and ensure its proper maintenance.

The Special Adviser stated that government projects achieve their intended objectives when communities embrace ownership and work together to sustain them for future generations.

The water supply scheme is one of several rural development initiatives being implemented by the Lagos State Government to enhance access to essential services and promote sustainable community development across the state.
