PRIORITIZING EDUCATION: BLDR DAINI READIES DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO 12,000 PUPILS IN 13 PRIMARY SCHOOLS ACROSS IGBOGBO BAIYEKU LCDA FOR NEW ACADEMIC SESSION ®™√ INN Nigeria ©

The Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, earlier this week, reaffirmed that the number one service on the priority list of his administration is to render to the pupils of the community the provision of a quality and value-driven education system.
He gave this remark at the meeting with the 13 head teachers from all the primary schools across Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Mr Afolabi Amusa, Educational Secretary of Ikorodu Local Government Authority, at the Council Secretariat.
He said the Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA particularly his administration strongly believes that putting the education sector in the driver’s seat among other sectors of the economy and getting things done properly would genuinely bring about the desired socio-economic prosperity to the LCDA and state by extension.
Speaking at the meeting, Daini highlighted some recent developments in the educational sector of the LCDA, some of which are the newly built and fully equipped 1 block of 5 classrooms in Local Government Primary School in Oreta, all-round perimeter fencing of Lajo Community School, outset of pupils registration at the new Olu Odo Primary School in Olu Odo Community, and the impending distribution of educational materials to primary schools across IBLCDA for the new academic session next week.
“There are about 12,000 primary school pupils in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and we are dedicated to harmonising and prioritising the needs of every primary school in our LCDA.
We will equally share exercise books, amongst other educational materials for all the pupils in all primary schools next week” Daini said.
In addition, the Council Boss emphasized the need to establish a new primary school in the Oshorun area of Ibeshe to allow pupils to have access to primary education in the area.
Present at the meeting was the Vice Chairman of IBLCDA, Hon Nuraini Okedina-Maja, the council-manager, Mr Waheed Tijani, Hon Nurudeen Alimi, Leader of the IBLCDA Legislative Arm, Princess Basirat Banjoko, Deputy Leader of IBLCDA Legislative Arm, Hon Akeem Solawon, Councilor Ward C2, and Hon Adekunle Anifowose, Councilor Ward C5.
